Excellent food and a good quality meal with a very good and friendly as well as efficient serving Staff. The room was a little snug with not much space and opportunity to move around.
Just spent weekend at the hotel ,lovely warm hotel ,all staff very friendly, apart from the manager, who seem quite rude to his staff, as he just stepped in front of them at bar ,even when they were serving ,(very rude in my veiw).room was very nice ,only 1 niggle was a broken tile on bathroom floor which we covered with a towel as it was sharp on your feet ,breakfast was brilliant, as was bar meals, over all great weekend away . Will return
We had our Christmas party here last night. We were in the annex which had been beautifully decorated and the table was set out really nicely. The meal was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to all at Greenhill for making our party night special. We hope to see you again next year.
I have been to the Greenhill hotel on multiple occasions now, and they never fail to make an amazing venue, the new function room is absolutely amazing, decent sized rooms, not to far from wigton, and an amazing Sunday lunch menu for the whole family!
Just got back today from a lovely two day stay here. Really lovely place, rural, although easily accessible. Amazing staff who are friendly and will do their utmost to cater for your needs.The food is fabulous. Nothing at all to complain about there!! I ordered '''roast of the day' (which was beef) and there was more than ample.Room was great, with en-suite, only downside is (we stayed in room 9) is the 'doors'. I believe they're no longer in use, as furniture i.e drawers/dressing table is in front of them? But they adjoin the rooms next door?We could hear conversations word for word from the room next to ours.Beautiful place, would recommend, and I'd stay there again.
