Its a basic chippy, friendly staff chips were decent portions reasonably priced

Purchased fish and chips last Tuesday and the piece of fish I had was probably the best I have had. Crispy batter and moist well cooked fish. Fried while I waited. Brilliant.
Went today bought 2 fish and chips which were uneatable and they went in the bin.ordered a buttered roll which she charged 1 which only had a scrape of what looked like margarine on,disgusting.Fish was dripping in grease chips looked liked they had been reheated more than once and were cold.Will definitely not be back Ive never ever seen anything like it.Only got 1 star as it wouldnt let you give none
Fantastic food, well priced for a good feed, the staff are a pleasure to deal with. If you've not tried John's Plaice you are missing out. A true Silloth experience.
