A very nice place to camp, which is found right on the Cumbria Way. Very good position to camp overnight if youre willing to make the final part from Caldbeck to Carlisle.The grass is very nicely mowed and the scenery is beautiful. Lots of place to put your tent wherever you want. For 4, this is a must-have. The owner is very kind as well. Toilet and sink available near the gate, kept proper and easy-to-use. Lastly, its close to the center, with the church and river right alongside the camping.
Fantastic stay at Caldbeck. Set in a beautiful part of the village and very handy for the local conveniences (shop, pub, etc). Toilets and sink supplied in the field kept very clean and handy. Very nice stay to say the least.
